| Italy is located
about half way
between Dallas and Waco off I-35E.
North of Hillsboro. From I-35E take the Italy exit, go east on highway 34, cross highway 77 in to Italy, and follow the signs to the best ride of the year. The tour has an open start from 8:00 am to 9:00 am from the Italy High School, corner of E. Park St & S. College St. Free camping. RV's and campers may park in the school parking lot. We also have a place for tent campers. Free hot showers. |

Rest Stops and refreshments abound
at the Tour d'Italia. Lots of snacks and fruit ( including our famous ripe
plums and nectarines. ) at each rest stop. After the ride, enjoy free snow cones & showers. Tour d'Italia has routes of: 12,33,42,50,60 miles. All routes are well supported by numerous SAG vehicles. "Elvis" Carl Cassady entertains riders at the Frost rest stop. This year we will have a professional photographer taking
pictures. |
| Packet pickup and Registration will be the day of the
ride, starting at 6:00 am at the Italy High School. If you are unable to
attend, packets will be mailed at your request. Our T-shirts are famous, and this year we continue our multi-colored designs. You can pre-register till June 13 by printing our form and mailing it in. Registration |
Spaghetti dinner
Friday June 20 , from 6:30pm to 8:30 pm. Pancake breakfast Saturday June, 21, from 6:30 am to 8:30 am. Pay at the door. Money to goes to Italy High School Athletics department. After the ride, Italy High School Athletics department, will be selling hamburgers and other sandwiches in the cafeteria. |
